What Causes Tingling And Itching In Nostril?

I have a worm like feeling in my nostril. Normally I m a very clean individual but i work out doors and have a nosehair picking habit (I can t grow a beard, but nose hair is fine). I m worried some egg has lodged itself in there. I can t get a good camera angle or good purchase on it with tweezers. It drives me crazy at times with itching. Any thiung I canb shove up ther? soap? oil? Food to coax it out ? haha. Thanks for any advice!

Hi Dear,

Understanding your concern. As per your query you have tingling and itching in nostril . Well there can be many reasons for symptoms you mention in query like sinusitis , allergic rhinitis or bell's palsy . I would suggest you to apply warm compresses on nose , take anti histamine like benadryl or take steam twice a day . If condition doesn't get well then consult ENT specialist for proper examination . Doctor may order nasal endoscopy along with CT scan and nerve conduction test . Doctor may prescribe immunosuppressants along with anti inflammatory and antibiotics . Doctor may also refer you to neurologist for bells palsy .
