What Causes Tingling And Burning In Upper Thigh While Suffering From Hashimoto S?
Hi, I have had tingling and burning in my upper right thigh. It was always a small patch right above my knee and then now it is all up my leg. I do teach and I stand a lot . I also have hoshimotos. I went to ostepath and he said my lower back was out of place and he said he fixed it. the pain is still pretty bad. It feels like stinging bees, electri shocks and burn to the touch. Not sure if this is from hoshimotos or just a nerve issue.
The tingling and burning in upper thigh with history of Hashimoto disorder indicates possible issue with nerve related problem, usually that of femoral nerve or anterior cutaneous nerve of thigh. It is best recommended for opting nerve conduction study with expert neurophysician for the final diagnosis and further care accordingly. If any of your reports are available with you, kindly share with me during follow up period for further assistance please.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
