I m 54 and have been jogging. For past 3 weeks, while jogging, both legs from knee down get extremely tight and burns. I feel it all way down to my ankles. My right leg is worst because my shin hurts so bad I have to stop jogging and walk. Feels like my calf will pop because of tightness. It s not shin splints, I ve had those before.
