What Causes Tight Sensation In The Chest While On Levofloxacin?

I am taking ic levofloxacin for a sinus infection, I just started taking it. First dose was today, this will be my third antibiotic. I have some concerns about side effects. I feel as though I am getting some tightness in my chest. I also just ate dinner, and I had an extremely nasty taste come up on me. I have been burping a lot since I took it, which I normally don't do. Should I stop taking this medication?

Yes, you are suffering from the side effects of antibiotic Levofloxacin that is causing Gastritis and acid reflux which is causing chest tightness, and nasty taste due to taste of acid..
Antibiotics damage the gut bacteria that are not harmful and help in proper functioning of the gut and in the absence of the good bacteria there are such symptoms..
The symptoms will subside once the antibiotic intake will stop and gut bacteria with replenish..
For reducing the symptoms you can take plenty of probiotics like Yogurt , can take probiotic supplements like Lactobacillus Acidophilus and along with it take Pantoprazole empty stomach in morning till you are on antibiotics..
Take an antacid half an hour before meals..
