Hi,

There can be various reasons for chest pain. It can be due to anemia, vitamin deficiencies or gastritis and reflux. Even stress and anxiety can also lead to such symptoms.

Besides it can be due to problems related to neck( cervical disc disease), or muscle strain. We also need to rule out problems related to heart and lungs. So I feel that first of all focus on your diet.

Eat plenty of fruits and vegetable.Take plenty of water,2-3 liters per day.Maintain proper posture especially while sleeping or working on computer.Be relaxed.Have a good night sleep. Go out for a walk or light exercise.

You are already taking antihypertensives but the readings you have mentioned are high.

So I feel that you need to get you treatment upgraded. Some medicines can be added or dose can be upgraded( after doing some investigations). Reduce salt in your diet. Regularly monitor your bp.

Also if still your symptoms persist then go for some investigations like complete blood count,FBS,tsh, xray neck,Ecg and Kidney function tests. This will give you a proper diagnosis.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
Dr. Milinda Gupta
