What Causes The Sudden Onset Of Chills And Hand Tremors?

My wife, 72, was sitting at our table just before lunch when she suddenly got the chills, hands started shaking and her field of vision turned red. It subsided in seconds. She is not diabetic. Any thoughts. She fine now & bad to normal but got quite a shock---concerned for stroke. She takes medication that controls afib.

Something of that sudden and unexpected in nature could occur in anybody whose blood pressure was suddenly dropping for some reason. It could be due to the effects of a medication she had taken within the previous 60-90 min.-- or it could've also been due to her not eating a meal or being dehydrated. Stroke not likely since both hands involved and the event subsided in sec. without involving weakness in any limb, sudden focal numbness/tingling, facial droop, or speech impairment.
