What Causes Terrible Pain After Eating With History Of Acute Pancreatitis?

Hi... I had a severe case of Acute Pancreatitis about 5 weeks ago. My liver & kidney shut down and things weren t looking good! I was kept in critical care for 2 weeks. Since released I have had terrible pain after eating & drinking. I only drink water & eat small meals (Ensure) throughout the day due to Gastric Bypass Surgery back in 2006. Today yet again I m hurting worse than ever, nauseous, & have fever of 100.2 degrees. I ve used the heating pad off & on all day, but it hasn t helped much. I have taken two Lortab today with no relief. Any suggestions or should I go to the ER??

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,

If pain is unbearable then go to the ER. It needs a thorough checkup and observation treatment. Lortab should be taken under guidance because if you are not tolerant then more dose is avoided. Join online optimizing energy 'Art of Living' course, exclusively for pain, not treatable by medicines. Researches suggest better results with this.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
