What Causes Tenderness On The Thighs?

In shooting myself with testosterone, I thing I hit something other than muscle. my thigh is tender to the touch. and inflamed. I do not believe I am in danger of any kind, but it is tender. do I put heat or cold on effected area. YYYY@YYYY

Dear Patient,

I think you either missed the muscle injecting it to a lymph node, or the injection was not very sterile.

Either ways if the inflammation does not relieve in 3 days consider taking Cephalosporin 3 generation antibiotics.

Meanwhile use ice patches in the area, and apply some anti inflammatory cream on it. You may buy it to your nearest drugstore.

Consider injections in your gluteal area next time

I think the situation will resolve with these advises.
