Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
What Causes Tendency Of Vomiting Post Food Intake In A Toddler?
My 3 years old child is having a tendency of vomiting just after taking Foods though actually not vomit for last 3/4 days. Last few days he is also facing some problem of potty(stool) as well. Otherwise he is a very active boy - always on his toes. His weight is 15 KG. Till now not suffering any major disease.
I find that constipation - meaning hard, dry stools - can cause kids not to want to eat, or to feel very full after eating. His weight is a good number. If this is a recent problem I would check his stools, if he is constipated add more fiber rich foods or give him a suppository.
Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Lisa Baker, Pediatrician
