What Causes Temporary Blindness And Confusion?

my friend - female age 55, has unexplained falls, temporary blindness and most recently could not find her way out of a bathroom possibly getting lost while driving. She doesn t always seem to comprehend or remember what is told to her. Has many long term issues, gets the shakes (getting worse), body very rigid, migraines, severe spinal pain, depression, fatigue. Walks strangely like she s ready to tip forward. Previous breast cancer spread to chest wall being controlled with chemo (2 years). Could this be TIA s or some other neurological disease.

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello!

This seems to me a very serious situation. These signs you mentioned should not be neglected.

I suggest she have:
1.A magnetic resonance test to make a right diagnosis,
2.An oncologist consult to see if disease (cancer) has involved head.

Also she mustn't drive a car by herself and always be accompanied from someone else.

Hope I have answered your query.
Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Suzana Zharri,
