What Causes Swollen Toes When Diagnosed With Gout?

1)I have been diagnosed with gout by ER Doc. My Doc thinks it might be something else. Swelling in left foot around toes. 2) Feels like I m standing on something around the ball of my foot 3) Burning feeling on instep 4) Leg cramping behind knee 5) Several toe nails have turned black and fell off all of a sudden. 6)Wheezing all the time, even with use of inhalers. 7)Explosive bowl movements, soft but not diarrhea 8) Constant fowl gas 9) Mouth sores and dry mouth.

Turf toe is a painful sprain in the big toe causing sudden pain and swelling in the base of the big toe. Paronychia is a skin infection that causes pain and swelling around the fingernail or toenail. Gout is a buildup of uric acid in the joints, causing joint pain, fever, and hot, red, swollen joints.
Use rest, ice, compression, and elevation (RICE) for pain and swelling.
If you do not have diabetes or peripheral arterial disease, your sore or sprained toe can be "buddy-taped " to your uninjured toe next to it.

RA symptoms can interfere with daily activities. Gout . Gouty arthritis usually strikes suddenly, with severe joint pain, swelling, warmth, and redness, often in the big toe (about 50% of cases). Gout causes a painful, swollen joint that's so severe that the weight of bed sheets can cause distress
