What Causes Swollen Throat And Fever After Having Oral Sex?

Hi, I m 18 years old and sexually active. Most of the time, my boyfriend and I give each other oral sex and every time I wake up with a swollen throat, a fever and congestion. Whenever I talk to my boyfriend about it, he tells me that he has never experienced those symptoms and it is just me feeling sick. I want to know if I have HIV? I am very scared that it is. Although, I have had this sickness when I had UTI. Thank you so much and I hope to hear from you soon!

Swollen throat, fever and congestion is 99% not because of HIV in this particular case. Excessive oral sex may, however cause local infection of throat and oral cavity, may be because of penis not disinfected and properly cleaned. Hyperexcitement during strokes of penis into your oral cavity is further choking and causing congestion in your throat. Better to avoid the act for some time hence.

Warm water gargles mixed with turmeric powder and steam inhalation will bring relief without side effects. Gargles at least twice a day.You may drink holy basil leaves and black pepper (one or two) boiled water and mix little turmeric in it for raising resistance against infection.
