What Causes Swollen Painful Thumb?
My right thumb is very painful, swollen and hard to the touch. I thought it was a hang nail but it is definitely not. It s VERY painful, has a heartbeat very warm. I cannot bend or extend my thumb. I cannot use it to write, open the door or anything really. It has been going on for three days now and has gotten increasingly worse. Is this something I should be concerned about.
