What Causes Swollen Lymph Nodes On The Left Side Of The Face?
I woke up a couple days ago to see my left side of my face swollen I went to the emergency room and they prescribed me clindamyocin and ibuprofen they said that I had swollen glands. How long does this normally last? Should I be worried about it spreading to the other side? And is it contagious because I have a 7 year old and a husband that lays next to me every night.
As per your complain swelling on left side of face along with swollen lymph nodes seems to be most probably due to decayed teeth or can be due to sinus infection or sinusitis..
You should consult a Dentist and get evaluated and a thorough clinical evaluation and investigation like Panoromic x ray can help in diagnosis and treatment can be done accordingly..
In case of tooth decay treating the tooth by root canal treatment or extraction followed by antibiotics and painkillers will help..
In case of sinus infection antibiotics, decongestants and steam inhalation can help.
Hope this helps..
