What Causes Swollen Lymph Nodes In The Neck Along With Fatigue?

I saw my regular physician last year in June when I noticed my lymph nodes were swollen in my neck and I had been battling fatigue. He did a few test and sent me to a ENT. There I was diagnosed with mononucleosis and was given some steroids told to rest some and I would be fine. At present my glands in my neck feel swollen and I have a extremely bad cough. I still have fluid in my ears and do on occasions experience ear pain. My fatigue has not improved but it has not gotten worse either. I just have a sickly feel all the time and I feel as though something is not right. My body feels sick but I know it s not a cold. This has been going on since June of 2017 I am sure getting over mononucleosis does not take that long. Any advice?

Hi,

Welcome to Healthcare Magic. I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.

You should do lymph node biopsy to diagnose the condition. It may be TB, Hodgkin's lymphoma, which can be confirmed by biopsy.

I hope I have answered your query. Let me know if you have any further questions.

Take care.
