I ve been fighting C Diff since late February.I m 49 years old, 5 8 , 180 lbs.Been through 3 rounds of Flagyl and 1 round of Vancomycin.Starting to see symptoms return after being off Vanc for a week. Now I ve got swollen lymph nodes in my neck, with no sore throat or any typical reason for that to occur. General Surgeon 's  Response
Hello,

There are no usual instances of C. diff affecting lymph nodes; but majority of the cases do present with GI discomfort and development of Pseudomembranous collitis. However, a detailed systemic evaluation is mandatory for the cause of underlying lymph node swelling which is without sore throat or any other typical reason.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Bhagyesh V. Patel, General Surgeon
