What Causes Swollen Lymph Nodes In Neck While On Flagyl For C.diff?
I ve been fighting C Diff since late February.I m 49 years old, 5 8 , 180 lbs.Been through 3 rounds of Flagyl and 1 round of Vancomycin.Starting to see symptoms return after being off Vanc for a week. Now I ve got swollen lymph nodes in my neck, with no sore throat or any typical reason for that to occur. Can C Diff affect lymph nodes?
There are no usual instances of C. diff affecting lymph nodes; but majority of the cases do present with GI discomfort and development of Pseudomembranous collitis. However, a detailed systemic evaluation is mandatory for the cause of underlying lymph node swelling which is without sore throat or any other typical reason.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
