What Causes Swollen Lymph Nodes In Back Of Head And Neck After Arm Injury?

My 6 year old daughter broke her left arm then a few days later developed swollen lymph nodes on the back of her head and neck on left side. No other symptoms and bloodwork came back fine. The doctors don t seem too concerned unless they get bigger. They can t tell me what caused them. Should I get another opinion?

Thank you for the question. There is nothing to be worried about the lymph node enlargement.Usually when there is infection in some part of the human body, lymph nodes related to that particular part increases in size as a reaction in the process of healing & even there may be pain. This is perfectly normal. They will become normal over the course of time.Be assured don't bother bother about them.Hope this clarifies.Get well soon
