What Causes Swollen Heel, Calf Tightness And Pain While Walking?

My heel is swollen and sore into the bottom of the heel. I have looked for signs of a bite, but nothing is visible. This startespd last Friday, and has improved very little. The back of my calf is also tight when walking, and walking is painful. I have taken Aleve and it helps some so I can sleep.

General Surgeon 's  Response
Hello,

As a first line management you can take analgesics like paracetamol or Aceclofenac for pain relief. Consult a general surgeon and get evaluated. An arterial Doppler is required to rule out conditions like peripheral vascular diseases.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Wishing you all the best.

Regards,
Dr. Shinas Hussain, General & Family Physician
