Over the summer, I was at the beach my hand started itching and I noticed it was swollen. The itch was extremely bad. I thought it was just a mosquito or some sort of insect bite. A few days later it s still swollen and itches. I went to the doctor they didn t do anything. Finally it went away then a few weeks later it came back in the same spot I went to the ER and was giving a steroid and antibiotics a few days later it went away. About a month later it was back just at a different spot I went back to the ER and was treated with 2 different antibiotics and a steroid. But it s back and I don t know what to do or where to go. I would love to have it GONE altogether but I m not sure what it is
Hello, Thanks for the query, You might be suffering from allergic contact dermatitis. It is an allergic reaction of skin to a particular product to which you came in contact with. Please apply a steroid cream like fluticasone. Also take an antihistamine tablet. This will give you relief. A photograph would have helped me in giving a closer diagnosis. Please meet a dermatologist for exact diagnosis. Let me know if you have any other doubt. you can ask a direct question to me on this forum, following the below link. http://www.healthcaremagic.com/doctors/dr-rahul-kumar/64818 Wishing you a good health.
