What Causes Swollen Feet And High Blood Pressure After Taking Duvadilan Retard?
on 28.05.2015 i am 18weeks 5days pregnant(b.p. 126/81), that day doc started Duvadilan retard 1cap twice a day but after continue last 10 days i find my feet swelling and my b.p. now 106/67 & pis. 96. Do you think it is normal or side effect of med. pls suggest what to do considering my age 49 years & under IVF treatment
Hello, I understand your problem. Duvadilan is usually prescribed to delay the delivery of baby. As such it will not cause any of the problems which you have mentioned. Swelling of limbs usually occurs in pregnancy. So, I am of the opinion that Duvadilan has nothing to do with your limb swelling. Your blood pressure is also normal.
As it is your precious pregnancy, I suggest you to visit your doctor to get an examination done to be on safer side.
I assure you that there is nothing to worry.
Take care.
Feel free to contact me for any further query.
Regards,
Dr. Prathap
