What Causes Swollen And Hard Testicle After Inguinal Hernia Surgery?
I've had open mesh surgery for my inguinal hernia. After the surgery I noticed that my right testicle feels hard and swollen. But it is not protruding out.I've asked my surgeon who had done the surgery and he assured me that it was nothing to worry about. As for masturbation, will my right testicle be operational again? Can I ejaculate from both testicles?I'm 22 so I want to know if I'll be fertile enough to have a family. Thanks and Regards Mahesh
1.The swelling post surgical cause could be due to - post operative changes, possibly oedema, subcutaneous thickness increased. 2.It should come down in a couple of weeks to normal size - other wise you may need to see the treating doctor for further evaluation. 3.That time an ultrasound scan might be performed - which will help to detect the cause. 4.No masturbation will not lead to operate your right testis ( why again ? it was never been operated / you gave in your history) 5.Dont worry if there is no problem with your testis scrotum and erectile function - fertility should be fine - enjoy your life. Good luck.
