Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service. I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.
As per your query, you have symptoms of swelling on the face and lips while on Pepsin which is mainly due to allergic reaction.
Need not to worry. I would suggest you to take antihistamine tablets as it will subside the allergy and your symptoms will be resolved immediately. Drink a lot water.
Apply ice cold pack on that swollen area it will subside swelling. Consult gastroenterologist regarding ingestion and get it examined and start treatment accordingly.
Avoid heavy meals at night and take light walk before sleep. For now, apply cold compresses to the affected area.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards, Dr. Harry Maheshwari
