Hello,

Depending on your age, this could be an autoimmune disease where the body makes antibodies to itself. There are a whole host of autoimmune diseases, some are worse than others.

The diagnosis is made by special lab tests that your doctor should order, and there are many very helpful treatments available if you do indeed have an autoimmune disease.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
Dr Daniel Richard Paull, Orthopaedic Surgeon
