What Causes Swelling Of Feet After A Hip Replacement Surgery?
hi I had hip replacement surgery 2 years ago. After the surgery I noticed some swelling of my feet and legs... I ve been to a cardiologist and my family m. d. and both say I need a c pap machine... well my legs have swelled so bad that I have open sores on my shins and calves from oozing... on the leg I had the replacement you can almost see the bone... What could be wrong with me?
I will advise you to do ultrasound hip and if required Doppler leg and heart. Swelling on leg can be due to cardiac congestion . You need to consult orthopaedic surgeon for clinical examination. You need urgent medical care to manage your condition before any further complications arise.
