Internal Medicine Specialist 's  Response
Hello,

Where is the location of swelling is it front of neck or in the throat? It may be due to swelling of thyroid gland or lymphadenopathy or angio edema or pharyngitis etc. Until examination is done it is difficult to say what it is. Get it done ultrasound of the neck and throat. Avoid cool drinks and ice creams it may increase the swelling. If symptoms not improved please consult with your ENT specialist he will examine and treat you accordingly.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
