What Causes Swelling In The Legs When Having History Of Stroke?

I am a 59-year-old male. Several months ago I had a TIA episode, a mild stroke. I never went to a doctor over it. The biggest effect was an impaired ability to write legibly. I recovered in a few weeks although my handwriting still seems mildly impaired. Anyway, I have swelling in my right hand and fingers. I also have swelling in my right foot and toes. Is this something I should see a doctor about?

Hello and welcome to Healthcamagic.
It may be caused by venous thrombosis and you should do Doppler ultrasound to rule this out so this is not something to be ignored especially if you had history of stroke or other thrombiembolic incidents.
I hope I have answered your query. I wish you a nice day.
