swelling in face and feet are seen in most commenly in the following three condition. 1)cardic cause specially right heart sided working deficiency may present with swelling. sometime,there may be breathlessness in right heart failure . 2)liver cause liver function hampering may cause hypoproteinemia(less protein in blood) that indirecly produce swelling too. 3)renal cause renal function defect also produce swelling on face and feet. so ,based on clinical examination,the judgement can be made which system is involved and lab. investigation are made in that direction and treatment can be given accordingly.
