What Causes Swelling In Lymph Nodes Of Neck?

I woke up this morning with slight swelling in my right jaw and under right ear. The swelling has increased as the day has gone on. Also after I ate a tangerine it became visibly worse. I have taken three advil and am using ice to deswell. Is kinda working

I appreciate your concern for the swelling below the right ear.

The features described in your case are suggestive of involvement of parotid salivary gland more precisely the obstruction of the salivary (parotid) duct.

The fact that swelling is progressively increasing as the day passes or after taking some fruits like Tangerine, there is a possibility of salivary stones which can block the flow of saliva.
When saliva can't exit through the ducts it gets accumulated in the gland causing pain and swelling.

You are advised to visit a surgeon for proper evaluation and possible
manual removal of stones, warm compresses, or sour candies to increase the flow of saliva.
Surgery may be required to remove the blockage and/or the affected gland.
