What Causes Swelling In Legs While On Hydrochlorothiazide, Zocor And Claritin?

My legs are swelling. I am 64, I take hydrochlorthyside 10 mg daily, zocor 20 mg at hs, claritin, caltrate 600 +d bid, and omega 3 1000 mg daily. I have a non alcoh fatty liver and emez run around 40-60 count. My brother age 55 just passed away massive heart attack, my brother age 67 had a heart attack at 55 and received treatment in time. Should I be concerned?

Long standing hypertension can cause edema of the lower limbs. Certain drugs can also cause leg edema. However, other conditions like renal diseases also be considered. Consult a physician and get evaluated. Detailed evaluation is required to make a diagnosis.
