What Causes Swelling And Lump On Hard Palate?

Hello, I have a swollen area on my hard palate. It looks like three round lumps in a cluster. I have just noticed it Two weeks ago. I have a history of hypothyroid but as of one year ago, it was too minor for my doctor to prescribe medication (not sure if this is related).

Hi..
Welcome to HEALTHCARE MAGIC..

I have gone through your query and can understand your concern...

As per your complain it seems that you have clogged duct of minor salivary gland or ruptured duct of the gland leading to spillage of mucous into the soft tissues leading to formation of a lump or in some cases there can be multiple lumps..
It generally does not require treatment and resolved on its own..
Concentrated salt water gargles can help..
In case if it doesn't resolve surgical removal for large Mucocele while lazer ablation for the small ones has to be done..
You should consult a dentist and get evaluated and get treated accordingly as per the diagnosis..

Hope this information helps..

Thanks and regards..
