What Causes Swelling And Calluses On Feet?

having a stent placed in my heart, two cardiac caths done in my right wrist, then another procedure thru my groin area, there has been swelling of my feet and ankles, I have bad calluses on both feet and it is very hard for me to walk, I am limping but can a Neurologist diagnose my problem?

Hi.
As per your case history of callus, my treatment advice is -
1. Callus are caused by continuous irritation and pressure on certain skin. Neurological problems can also cause callus.
2. Wear soft footwear to avoid pressure on the affected part.
3. Apply a salicylic acid plus lactic acid lotion like Salactin paint on the affected part once daily.
4. Take an oral vitamin A supplement for faster results.
