What Causes Sudden Sweating With Dizziness And Tremors?

This evening while taking my granddaughter trick or treating for Halloween, I suddenly broke out in a drenching sweat, got dizzy, and started shaking, I had no energy at all. Someone got me something to drink because he was afraid I was going to pass out. I drank about 4 oz. of lemonade, and was able to continue. About 20 minutes later it happened again. This time I had half a hot dog and started feeling better. I am not diabetic, but I do have high blood pressure, am anemic, and a couple other health issues, but have never had anything like this happen before.

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

It seems like hypoglycaemia episode, your blood sugar levels drop so much, giving you these symptoms. I think you should get retested for diabetes doing fasting glucose levels and postprandial glucose levels.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
Dr Olgeta Xhufka , General & Family Physician
