What would cause a sudden onset of problems s with speech? 74 yr old male with in excellent health, mixes up words like dryer for washing machine or plate for glass, etc Sports fan but doesn t remember which has team is the home team what tv shows the score like rams 13 vs kc 20, etc

Firstly it might b age related. Age related brain atrophy also cause the same problem..most imp. is Alzimers disease this might b the possibility of that.
