What Causes Sudden Rise In Blood Pressure Along With Dizzy Spells And Cold Sweats?
Recently I have been having a lot of weird things happen. My blood pressure has been steadily rising the last time the I believe was correct was 160/88 then someone took it a few days later and it was 157/100... I am 32 years old, I work out but the machines have been shutting off due to my pulse being high. I have gone to the doctor for sudden ringing in my ears them I get dizzy a cold sweat and I have to sit down until it passes then I am fine. Yesterday my chest started hurting about 1 1/2 in below my left breast and when I took my pulse it was 63 but my back and jaw hurt also, not horribly bad just enough for it to be irritating I also felt what seemed to be a bubble go through my left artery on my neck. Today I took a really warm almost hot shower because I have had a headache for 3 days while in the shower I noticed in the area where my head hurts (also itches and burns to the touch possibly from itching it) is now flat around the edges of a circle and seems to indent in. I am starting to get really worried. I am scheduled for a Drs appointment Aug3, should I wait and what could be wrong?

General & Family Physician, Dr. Vasudha's Response
Hi,
The symptoms of chest and neck pain you have after exercises along with raising blood pressure demand an earliest heart check up. I don't want to scare you but it would be wise to be under medical care and prevent more concerning situation. Till then you should take a break in your present exercise pattern and move to lighter exercises till you see a cardiologist. I would suggest to attend ER heart specialist for it and get the doubt cleared / managed before your appointment in August.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
