I am a 58 year old female.My blood pressure was 133 over 67 on October 23 2015 Today it is 188 over 102.How can that be so drastic.I am a Canadian who got married on May 8 to an American .I left my home in Calgary Alberta and moved to Minneapolis.I m ver happy.I went home in October sold my condo and shipped a few things to the states.I went to visit my parents on November 2.My dad died a week later.So I went back with my husband to his funeral.Could these all be factors
Hi.Thanks for your query on HCM.As per your question reasons for rise in your BP depends on many factors which includes food rich in calories and fat and sugar,lack of exercise or being overweight.restrict too much salt in your diet as it plays major role in increasing the BP.Avoid any smoking habits if present.May be you are suddenly stressed due to father's death.Hypertension becomes a common problem above 40years of age in general.Don't be stressed.Take low sodium diet and get your BP checked in between by your physician and he will prescribe you medication also as your BP is considerably high.Hope this information helps you.take care.
