Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I just experienced a sudden pain in my wrist and when I looked at it I could see a spot about the size of a penny that was bubbled up and bruised looking. The pain lasted for about five minutes and was intense. The bulge has gone down but the bruise is still there and some mild pain....should I be concerned and get to the Dr?

What Causes Sudden Pain In The Wrist?
Hello, As a first line management, you can take analgesics like paracetamol or aceclofenac for pain relief. We have to rule out possible causes like carpal tunnel syndrome. f pain persists better to consult an orthopedician and get evaluated. In that case, you might require an MRI scan for further assessment. Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further. Regards, Dr. Shinas Hussain, General & Family Physician
