What Causes Sudden Muscle Spasms In The Body Without A Fever?

For the last 2-2.5 days i have been developing muscle pain throughout my entire body. It feels kind of like the pain a day or 2 after an intense workout(if you haven t worked out in a very long time). It is painful to open a water bottle, lift objects, get up out of a chair. I have never experienced this before. I am not running a fever. I have been checked for ticks(Lyme disease) with no visible signs of a tick or a rash.
