What Causes Sudden Drop In Body Temperature?
last night in a resturant my mother [76 yrs old] suddenly became very very cold,and just wanted to leave and go home to bed..............what would cause this apparent sudden drop in body temperature ?...Then she became very very hot and her pulse started to race high..

Hi,
These symptoms may be due to your mother contracting a viral infection. I suggest you ensure she drinks plenty of water. Takes paracetamol regularly and rests until she feels better. She should take a light diet if she feels unwell and loses her appetite.
