What Causes Sudden Chest Pains, Which Affect The Throat And The Jaws?

Here s what has happened more than a few times I was in the hospital 2 times but they told me all the test were showed nothing was wrong. I am alway in a relaxed state reading doing puzzlers and them I start getting chest pain it goes up my throats into my jaw. Then into my back. I have Nitrostats and I have taken then on several occasions. I hate to go back to emergency because they make you feel like a fool. At least that s how I feel.

Hi,

Consult a physician and get evaluated. We have to rule out cardiac causes like angina as it can present with similar symptoms. You have to get an ECG to rule out angina.

As a first line management you can take analgesics like Paracetamol or Aceclofenac for pain relief.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Shinas Hussain,
