Hello, I m a 30 year old female and I have been suddenly stopped having my periods. My last period was sometime in mid August I skipped the entire month of September and now that we re in mid October I m still not having a period. I m having no sign of it coming. I am also having no pre menstrual symptoms which I have been having for the past 20 years ( I ve been having periods since 9 years old). I m coming up on almost 2 months with no period this is very new for me and has never happened before. I m frankly starting to get very freaked out here because something is obviously wrong somewhere. This is causing me major stress. It s like the second I turned 30 my periods have stopped. There is a history of early menopause in my family my mother s mom ( grandmother) had hers when she was 42 years old. Things to know about me 1. NOT pregnant 2. not sexually active at this time 3. not in any physical pain nor do I feel sick 4. The inside of my vagina feels swollen more than usual (no pain) 5. odd vaginal spotting but the blood does not look like period blood just red blood spots. 6. no pelvic pain 7. Normal vaginal discharge, no smell no cramps or pain 8. I have recently made some lifestyle changes to my diet as well. I lost over 100lbs due to just eating healthy and eating no processed foods. Please help because I m at the end of my rope here and not wanting to go see a doctor because my job is very demanding and I m not sure when I d have time. However I will if my periods do not start.
