What Causes Strong Vaginal Odor?

About a month ago after my period my vagina got this very bad odor like old period blood smell and I can't get rid of it and it's been about a month and I have a little discharge and my boyfriend says it feels like I have dried blood Inside my vagina and it kinda feels like little scabs

Thank you for asking HCM.
I have gone through your query. Your problem can be due bacterial vaginosis. A swab test will be helpful to rule out this. If you have discharge from inside it is better to have a pelvic examination by gynecologist to rule out pelvic inflammatory disease. In case of positive signs ultrasound examination will be needed to confirm it. For bacterial vaginosis i would suggest using vaginal suppositories containing combination of antibiotic like clindamycin and anti fungal like clotrimazole.
