What Causes Stroke And Severe Migraine Like Symptoms?

My sister had symptoms similar to a stroke or severe migraine. They diagnosed her with something that started with transitional, but she can t recall exactly what they said. I want to research it, but don t know what to call it for my search. Do you have any idea what it might be?

HI, thanks for using healthcare magic

It may be transient ischemic attack or TIA.

This is sometimes called a minor or mini stroke.

It may indicate that there is a risk of another stroke developing. It is an acute/short term episode of temporary neurological changes that may typically last less than an hour.

To prevent a full stroke she would need to control her risk factors. This means: (a)controlling blood pressure,
(b)controlling diabetes,
(c) controlling cholesterol,
(d) no smoking,
(e) reducing alcohol intake and
(f)being physically active (at least 150 mins a week),
(g)healthy diet

I hope this helps
