What Causes Stringy White Vaginal Discharge Post Intercourse?

I had sex 4 weeks postpartum. We used the pull out method cause I haven t got birth control yet. He did not cum inside me but Im worried about pre cum the day after had sex I started having thick stingy discharge. What could that be, could I be pregnant again? What do I need to do?

Dear thanks for the question.

Chances of getting pregnant are less in one month of delivery. However chances of infections are there, if you have fever, infection is most likely cause for this discharge. You can wait and watch as it may not be any serious problem. You can rule out pregnancy after two weeks by urine test. If discharge persists visit a doctor.
