What Causes Strange Spots On The Legs?

I have developed strange red spots on both of my legs. I am female, 77 years old and moderately active. I haven t been doing any outside work so I don t think these are insect bites and I never see any spiders or other crawly creatures in my house. The red spot on my left leg is flat, round and fairly large. On my right leg it looks like welts. Could these be an allergic reaction to the numbing shot I received at the dermatologist s office two days ago? thanks for your help.

Hello,

I have gone through your query and it could be an allergic reaction to the numbing shot.

You can wait for a few days so that it settles on its own or apply topical steroid like cortisone cream on the affected area twice daily for 5-7 days.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
