What Causes Stomach Upset And Sharp Pain In Navel While Bowel Moment?

Hello Doc, I am male of 24yrs. It all started about 15 days ago. I suddenly fell sick and thought my temperature was rising but it hadn t. I did not eat for 2 days and didn t feel sick anymore. Then started stomach upset, having to go to the toilet 2 times a day. It can happen at anytime and just before going to the toilet the stomach makes noises so i have to rush. I took tablets for gas called aciloc and it helped the upper navel pain i had but the lower navel pain still exists and only happens before a rush to the toilet or sitting at the toilet. sometimes i have sharp pains just below the navel while doing the no2.

Hello,
1) Your symptoms are suggestive of enteritis (inflammation of small intestine)
2) If this involve last part of small intestine then there might be possible to have mild appendicitis also.
3) In enteritis, intestine movement become rapid due to inflammation.
4) You need to find out cause for development of enteritis for which you need USG abdomen, CBC (blood test), routine stool examination.
5) For treatmnet specific antibiotic is sufficient in addition to treatment for pain and gas trouble.
