Hi doctor, for the last few weeks I have am being woken up by sudden weird shooting pains in my stomach and a weird feelings as well that something going through my stomach. However i have always checked the milk date or the bread date that I had eaten prior to my sleep and they are 2 or 3 days off date. for example last night I had some pitta bread with avocado pouree, was woken up at 9am with this feeling, I would like to know is the expired food to blame? or is this a health problem? it only has taken place when I accidentally eat these out of date products however reassurance would help me great.
