What Causes Stomach Pain With Bloating After Eating?

Every time that I eat anything, my stomach gives me so much pain and my gut swells up. I have had diagnosis from ibs, ibd, and the scope that the doctor showed that my stomach was always 1/3 full and that eventually it would burst and peritonitis set in. I have neuropathy, s jogrens syndrome, raynauds phenomena, fibromyalgia, mental illness. My dr. just keeps giving me meds. I was on 50 a day. Any thoughts? Colleen. Am on disability and can t afford to pay. I will wait and see my doctor. Thanks for your time.

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,

Based on the history you have shared, with so many co morbid illnesses, it's better to use antacids like Oomerperazole before meals along with motility agents like Domperidone or Itapride before meals. Also avoiding spicy food etc may be needed. Meanwhile, a rheumatologist review for other conditions should also be sought.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
