Hello,
I have gone through your query and here are your answers: 1. Self-medication to induce a medical abortion is strictly contraindicated since this can lead to an incomplete abortion, heavy bleeding and infection. The procedure should be performed under medical surveillance and after proper investigation which includes a pelvic sonogram.2. Since you stopped bleeding but experience pain, a clinical evaluation followed by a trans-vaginal sonogram is needed to detect any retained products. If this is so, either a repeated medical abortion or surgical evacuation are needed. Hope this helps.
