What Causes Stomach Discomfort And Cramps In The Legs While Treating Anxiety?

Hi, my husband has been dealing with some anxiety, stomach issue. Blood work normal, endoscopic exam ok, except for some stomach irritation, not sure what but no virus the results said. Now his legs hurt a lot, ache, cramp and his appetite is still not very good. He just started an anxiety medicine that should increase his appetite per doctor, I m afraid something is being missed, he just keeps saying he does not feel good, also has insomnia, has to pace the floors some night for hours. Weight loss too. Has tried sleeping aids, three different ones. Any other ideas? RoeAnna

Hello,
Severe anxiety can cause these symptoms supported by the fact that his most investigations are normal.
In such a case, drugs like escitalopram in combination with clonazepam (both are prescription drugs) can help.

Please talk to your doctor about this.
thanks
