What Causes Stomach Discomfort And Chest Pain In An Elderly Person?

Hi my mother is 85 and her upper stomach is jumping and effecting her breathing she has been like that since last night which also make it hard to breath she was in the hospital until 3 days ago and they had said she has a muscle in her chest going to her back causing pain feeling also she says her heart sounds like a baby cry and when her stomach jumps it looks like baby movement not sure what to do for her the Hospital stay did not help at all any suggestions .we do not have credit cards to pay sorry

First of all it's sad to know what you had been going through lately. Based on the history you have shared,you mother is having costochondritis and this is because she is elderly and fragile and her muscles are weak now.

She must take painkillers like acetaminophen. Plus she is being anxious and this she feels her heart pounding.
Give her good painkillers and relax her. She will recover soon.
